These fish, considered the “Chinese New Year Fish”, are in reproductive season during the New Moon or Lunar New Year, making them a symbol of good luck and prosperity.
Visitors to Manila Ocean Park from January 22, 2023 to January 28, 2023 can witness the rabbitfishes being fed by our Underwater Prosperity God, who will use a special feeding ring shaped like the number 8, further emphasizing the theme of fortune and prosperity.
