Meet our Animals

Scarlet Ibis

Unmistakable, beautiful orange-red ibis with black wingtips. Breeding adults have black bills, pink at other times. Immatures are dark above with white bellies and pink bills.

African Spoonbill

The African Spoonbill is a striking bird with an almost entirely white plumage that gives it a pristine, elegant look.

Budgerigar

Budgerigars are known for their cheerful and inquisitive personalities. They enjoy exploring their surroundings and can form strong bonds with their owners. They are also known for their vocalizations, including chirping, singing, and mimicking sounds.

Rufous Hornbill

The Rufous Hornbill is a large bird known for its distinctive appearance. It has a predominantly black body with rufous (reddish-brown) feathers on its head, neck, and upper breast. The bird’s most striking feature is its large, curved bill and casque (a hollow structure on top of the bill), which are bright red in color.

Sun Conure

Sun Conures are known for their bright and colorful plumage. Adults have a predominantly golden-yellow color with a rich orange face and belly. The wings and tail feathers can exhibit shades of green and blue.

Mallard Duck

Mallards are social birds, often found in groups. They are adaptable and can mix with other species of ducks. Mallards are quite vocal, especially the females, who make the classic loud quacking sound that is often associated with ducks.

Great White Pelican

Great White Pelicans are highly social birds, breeding and feeding in colonies. During breeding, they exhibit a range of communal behaviors that strengthen social bonds.

Cape Fur Seal

Cape fur seals are robust marine mammals with thick, dense fur, which is dark brown to black in males and lighter brown or gray in females.

Asian Small-Clawed Otter

Asian Small-Clawed Otters are highly social and live in extended family groups of up to 12 individuals. These groups are often vocal and can be heard chirping, whistling, and making other sounds to communicate.

Saltwater Crocodile

Saltwater Crocodiles have a robust body with a powerful tail, which aids in swimming. Their heads are large with a strong jaw capable of tremendous biting force, essential for capturing large prey.

You can visit us from Mondays to Sundays, and Public Holidays from 10 AM to 6 PM.

Children 2 feet (24 inches) tall or shorter can enter free of charge. Children above 2 feet will need a ticket. Admission will be based on height, not age.

Tickets are available for purchase on our website or through our trusted online partner, such as Klook. Alternatively, you can buy tickets directly at the counter on the day of your visit.

A helpful tip: consider buying your tickets online to browse available dates and avoid waiting in line.

Guests are welcome to enter the park once during their visit, please note that reentry is not possible.

We are located Behind Quirino Grandstand, Luneta, Ermita, Manila beside Manila Ocean Park.

Please be reminded that outside food and drinks are not allowed inside the Philippine Biodome.

To ensure the well-being of our animals, the Biodome strictly enforces a no-pet policy. This policy aligns with health quarantine regulations and is implemented to prevent cross infections. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated.

We have two parking lots available for our guests: South Parking (near Harbor View) and North Parking (near Manila Hotel). The rates are as follows:

For Car/SUV * First three hours – P50.00 * Succeeding hours or a fraction thereof – P30.00

For Motorcycle *6am to 10pm – P40.00 (flat rate)

*Succeeding hours or a fraction thereof – P40.00 We have a 15-minute ‘grace period’ if you’d like to just drop off your passengers at the main entrance and park somewhere else.

When tickets are purchased at the central ticketing office, they are valid for one day. On the other hand, tickets purchased through our website have a designated validity date, which can be located in the details provided.

In the event of an emergency within Philippine Biodome, please be assured that our entire staff is thoroughly trained and prepared to offer assistance. Whether you require medical attention, have noticed something unsafe, or need help with any other urgent matter, you can approach any of our staff members for immediate support.

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own stroller or wheelchair. We have designated areas where you can conveniently park and retrieve your stroller or wheelchair as needed throughout your day.

Guests are encouraged to admire the animals from a safe distance inside the Biodome and can ONLY touch the animals if instructed by the Animal Keepers.
